Welcome to Piedmont Lawn Pros, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (piedmontlawnpros.com) and the lawn care, landscaping, and property maintenance services we provide. By requesting an estimate, hiring us for services, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of Services & Estimates

Piedmont Lawn Pros, LLC provides professional lawn care, landscaping, and maintenance services as detailed in your individual service agreement, estimate, or invoice. All quotes and estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise specified in writing.

2. Payment Terms, Cards on File, & Billing

  • Recurring Services (Pre-Payment or Card on File): To secure a position on our service route, all recurring lawn care and maintenance accounts require either pre-payment prior to service or a valid credit/debit card on file. Accounts with a card on file are automatically billed upon completion of each service visit. Services will be paused immediately if pre-payment is not received or if a card on file is declined.
  • Small / One-Off Jobs: One-off services require pre-payment or a card on file prior to scheduling. Invoices are due immediately upon receipt.
  • Large Projects / Landscaping: Larger projects require a deposit prior to work commencing. Progress payments may be scheduled during the project, with the remaining balance due immediately upon project completion.
  • Late Fees: Accounts with unpaid balances exceeding 15 days past the due date may incur a late fee of 1.5% per month (or the maximum allowed by law) plus any reasonable costs associated with collection.

3. Property Access, Obstacles, & Pets

  • Access & Locked Gates: Property gates and service entry points must be unlocked and fully accessible on your scheduled service day. If our crew is locked out or denied access, the visit will be skipped, and a trip/callback fee may apply to return.
  • Obstacles & Debris: Items such as toys, hoses, yard tools, outdoor furniture, and trash must be cleared from the service area before our crew arrives. Our team will work around large obstacles left in the yard rather than moving them.
  • Pet Waste: All pet waste must be cleared from the lawn prior to our arrival. Excessive pet waste will result in an added cleanup fee. Persistent pet waste issues may result in immediate suspension or cancellation of service.

4. Cancellations, Rescheduling, & Weather Delays

  • Customer Cancellations: We require at least 24 hours’ advance notice to cancel or reschedule a scheduled service visit. Visits cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
  • Weather Delays: Rain, severe weather, or extreme field conditions will automatically shift our service schedules. We will notify you via text or email regarding any weather-related schedule updates and complete your service as soon as weather and lawn conditions permit.

5. Property Damage & Limitation of Liability

While our crew exercises extreme care while operating on your property, Piedmont Lawn Pros, LLC is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage to property, turf, structures, hardscapes, or plants.
  • Unmarked or improperly buried underground items, including irrigation heads, drip lines, invisible pet fences, utility lines, or shallow cables.
  • Personal belongings, toys, hoses, or items left on the lawn during scheduled service times.

Note: If our team identifies any pre-existing damage or potential hazards on your property, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you promptly.

6. Text Messaging & Email Communications

By providing your contact information, you consent to receive service updates, appointment notifications, estimates, and invoices via email or text message (SMS) through our system providers. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP, or manage email updates in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted directly to this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our services or website following any updates constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
